Hi
Steve!!! Congrats!!! It is wonderful to hear that you are doing so well. I
would like to share this with you. Studies have shown that children who play an
instrument perform higher in logic and mathematics.
And of course, if we think of
the spiritual benefits of what music does for the development of one's character
as a human being, well, we could write a thesis. America has pushed the arts to
the side and this is a tragedy. This is a great loss to us as a culture and a
great loss to mankind. Without the arts, music of which plays an enormous role,
where would mankind be?
Our intelligence as beings
relies heavily on the arts. It heals our soul and nurtures our intellect,
motivating our creativity in every aspect of our lives. The study of music, and
the arts, in general, produces well balanced, rounded individuals that are more
beneficial to society. If we look to the past, great civilizations had great
music and art.
Music is especially a healer.
The work you are doing is healing for society, Steve. Congratulations for it.
I will also have Petro read this and send you his ideas.
Much love and kisses from us
here in Crete, - Fran
There is no way I can express in writing how much
Steve and my music lessons have greatly affected my life. There is nothing like
being In a fun environment while learning music skills that also influence other
aspects of like. Not only am I now a confident drummer, but a student who
understands music as a whole. I have been able to apply my music skills to my
passion of filmmaking as music plays an important role in all films and videos.
Steve has been more that just a music teacher, but a mentor, and I have learned
music skills and life skills that I will remember forever. -Max Margolin
